Hydrogen chloride in nitrogen gas mixtures are ideal for calibrating CEMs used to measure HCl emissions and are used in conjunction with the US EPA methods listed below. These standards are offered as either Certified Working ClassTM or CEM 2% DAILY STANDARDSTM to maximize your daily CEM performance.
Methods 26 and 26A determine HCl emissions from combustion stacks, primarily waste incinerators
Method 321 determines HCl emissions from Portland cement kilns through the use of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy
